iPoker France Adds Multiple Entry Events to New Tournament Schedule
Key Takeaways
  • After the end of its Summer sale, iPoker France has made major changes to its tournament schedule. Re-entry and Multiple Entry tournaments have also been included in the new schedule.
  • The French iPoker sites are focusing not so much on guarantees, as scheduling guaranteed events into a tight window.
  • “After spending a year placing high guarantees on a few tournaments, we have decided to take a new approach based on the density of the tournament schedule,” explained a Unibet spokesperson.

After the end of its Summer sale, iPoker France has made major changes to its tournament schedule. Re-entry and Multiple Entry tournaments have also been included in the new schedule.

Multiple Entry events allow players to play concurrently on several tables in the same event. If there are too few tables remaining for all of a player’s entries to play at separate tables, then the chip stacks are merged into one.

The format was introduced by Full Tilt in 2011. It has proved to be successful in attracting the entries needed to make more ambitious guarantees.
